SUMMARY:
Responsible for the product application
support of CITY MULTI Controls Networks for CITY MULTI and Lossnay products including controls system design,
programming, project management, technical sales support, and
commissioning/service.
The Essential
Functions of the Position Include, But Are Not Limited to the
Following:
·
Devise, Implement, and Review control system
designs/plans for large projects incorporating sequence of operations,
integration with Energy/Building Managements Systems (EMS/BMS) via LonWorks® or BACnet,
and programming of PLCs.
·
Basic networking skills to connect HVAC controls
with PC based management, including LAN and WAN knowledge
·
Commission, Maintain, and Troubleshoot HVAC
Control Systems to ensure proper installation and programming per the plans and
specifications
·
Run proprietary software tools to aid in the
controls system design
·
Interface with Property Owners, Facility
Managers, Building Managers, Controls Integrators, and Contractors on technical
issues associated with controls network
·
Survey and Analyze existing HVAC and control
equipment to provide conversion plan for retrofit projects
·
Support Service Department on PC-based,
PLC-based, and BMS integration issues
·
Generate and Conduct technical training on
Controls Network to customers, engineers, and internal departments (sales,
service, operations, and marketing).
·
Develop and maintain controls specifications,
drawings, and documentation to support controls system design, sales, and
support.
·
Develop ongoing relationships with MEHVAC sales
staff and key customers.
·
Controls product application support for Mr.
Slim
The Non-Essential

Following:

Various support functions relating to specific
product application activities and opportunities.

Other tasks and projects as
requested.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
·
Degree in electrical/computer/mechanical
engineering, computer science, or technical degree in
HVAC Control Systems or Computer Networking, or equivalent HVAC Controls
industry experience.
·
Technical experience with controls systems in
HVAC industry
·
Technical experience with DDC controls and
building management systems
·
Technical experience with LonWorks® and BACnet® integrations
·
Prefer technical experience with
·
Basic computer networking proficiency required,
especially with LANs, Hubs, Routers, etc.
·
Excellent computer skills required, especially
with Microsoft Office programs and Network settings.
·
Knowledge of AutoCAD
·
Strong communication, presentation, training, and
technical writing skills
·
Analytical approach to problem
solving
·
Team oriented, self motivated, and likes to work
hands-on
·
Prepared to travel 75%
